In short

  • Is One Piece coming to Fortnite? Yes. Epic Games officially confirmed the Fortnite x One Piece collab on 24 October 2026.
  • When? It's part of the Treasure Hunters mini season, which Epic has teased for 1 November. The exact day One Piece arrives hasn't been announced.
  • Skins? No One Piece skins have been revealed yet. Any lists you see are leaks or guesses.

The One Piece Fortnite collab is real. On 24 October, Fortnite's official X account posted a seven-second teaser showing the Going Merry, the Straw Hat Pirates' first ship, sailing through moonlit clouds. It ends with the Fortnite and One Piece logos side by side, as Outputlag reported.

The post's only text was three straw hat emojis 👒👒👒, a nod to Luffy's famous hat.

When does One Piece come to Fortnite?

Here's what we know so far about the One Piece Fortnite release date:

  • Epic posted a second teaser on 24 October for a mini season called Treasure Hunters, captioned "The greatest adventure of all! 11.1", which points to 1 November, according to Endgame Tools.
  • Chapter 7 Season 4 ends on the same day, so the mini season is expected to start straight after.
  • Epic hasn't said whether One Piece arrives on day one or later in the mini season, as Hotspawn pointed out.

Our best guess: One Piece content arrives during the Treasure Hunters mini season, starting from 1 November. We'll update this story the moment Epic gives an exact date.

What is the Treasure Hunters mini season?

It's a short, pirate-themed season that closes out Chapter 7. The official teaser shows Fortnite logos in different styles, including one in Japanese, then a treasure map with a compass and the title "Treasure Hunters: The Greatest Adventure of All Time".

A$AP Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert are also part of the build-up. Both released anime-style teasers this week, and Beebom reported that Rocky's shows the Yacht returning.

Will there be Fortnite One Piece skins?

Almost certainly, since big collabs nearly always come with skins, but Epic hasn't shown or named any yet. That means:

  • We don't know which Straw Hats are coming (Luffy, Zoro, Nami and so on).
  • We don't know if they'll be in the Battle Pass or the Item Shop.
  • We don't know prices.

Some sites are listing leaked character names. We won't treat those as fact until Epic reveals them.

Is there a One Piece live event?

A short in-game cinematic called the "One Piece Chest Story Moment" is listed for 31 October, according to Beebom's live event guide. Epic hasn't announced it officially yet, so treat the date as likely rather than certain.

It's expected to involve the giant pirate chest that's been loading in on the map all month.

Where is the giant pirate chest?

The chest sits on the small islands east of Sunken Shores, and you can see it from the Battle Bus. It's chained shut and has been slowly "loading in" in stages.

According to leaked files reported by Nintendo Life, it has been playing a different song each day, starting with A$AP Rocky's "RIOT (Rowdy Pipe'n)" and Lil Uzi Vert's "What You Saying".

  • What the live event on 31 October shows, if it goes ahead.
  • Whether the map changes for the mini season.
